New this year, we are proud to launch a 1-hour Guided Walking Estate Tour that takes the experience outside to share the significant history of the site and the various evolutions through time from the First Nations, Dunsmuir family, Royal Roads Military College and now Royal Roads University. The tour takes guests on a journey through the various gardens and returns to beautiful Hatley Castle. Should tour groups require us to accommodate guests with mobility challenges, we can customize the experience to ensure the tour is within their limitations.
Uniquely, Hatley Castle continues to be a "living building" and is occupied by administrative offices, academic classes, and events for the public to enjoy.

NOTE: Pre-booked group tours larger than 10 guests will receive a 20% discount with advanced payment.
Garden Self Exploration:
Guests are welcome to leisurely self explore the beautiful gardens daily from 10:00am - 7:00pm
Garden Admission:

$8.50 - Seniors (60+)
$6.50 - Students (6-17)
Free - Children under 5 years old
NOTE: a 50% discount will be applied to garden admission rates when a wedding is taking place, due to restricted areas.
