Guests must be on a guided tour to visit Hatley Castle.
Tours can be arranged for groups larger than 10 people, Monday thru Friday, by contacting the Campus Services Division at 250-391-2666.

Hatley Castle Museum and Gift Shop located in the basement of Hatley Castle.

Note: Residents of Colwood are entitled to an annual Ambassador Pass for complimentary admission to Hatley Gardens. To obtain the pass, simply show proof of residence (e.g.: license or utility bill) with photo ID at the gift shop located on the garden level of Hatley Castle.

Getting Here  

Hatley Park is one of Canada’s largest and most diverse National Historic Sites. At the centre is a magnificent castle built in 1908 by former British Columbian Premier and coal baron, James Dunsmuir.

Echoes from the past link you to present day adventures as you enjoy guided tours of Hatley Castle, visit the museum, or stroll through the Japanese, Italian, and Rose Gardens.
