With snowdrops and daffodils peeking out of the soil, spring must be just around the corner and with it comes the 15th annual Mother’s Day Paint In and Craft Fair at Royal Roads University in beautiful Hatley Park National Historic Site. We invite you to join us and experience a remarkable outdoor festival where we expect to welcome more than 3,000 visitors.

In addition to the work of local artists and craftspeople, activities will include a variety of family entertainment, main-stage performances, children’s craft station and complimentary access to the gardens.

New this year, we will also feature events paying tribute to special anniversaries being celebrated by RRU (15 years), the City of Colwood (25 years) and the Canadian Navy (100 years). These will include walking tours of the Hatley Park gardens, greenhouse and nearby Pendray House, featuring along the way artists from Coast Collective Art Centre working en plein air. There will also be historical displays and exhibits as well as an open house showcasing development projects, programs and activities at Royal Roads University.
