Join us on May 10, 2009 for the 14th Annual Mother’s Day Paint-In Celebration! With snowdrops and crocuses peeking out of the soil, spring makes our popular community festival truly a wonderful family occasion.
This annual event attracts more than 3,000 people annually and showcases many of Vancouver Island's finest artisans and crafters. The Paint-In is set in a breathtaking outdoor setting highlighting magnificent Hatley Castle with its surrounding gardens.
Schedule of Events: Main Stage Performances 10:00 am - District of Soul

1:00pm - Chikoro Marimba Band
3:15 pm - West Shore Community Band
Wild! (Located in the Grant Building – Ballroom) The fourth year running of the region’s largest student art show, Wild! celebrates the vision and creativity of a new generation of emerging artists.
Opening Reception Friday, May 8th 5pm – 8pm
Saturday, May 9th from 11 am – 4 pm
Sunday, May 10th from 10 am – 4 pm
Castle and Gardens Hatley Park Museum and Hatley Castle Gift Shop will be open during the festivities.
Castle Tours: 10:30 am – 3:30 pm (Tours will be every 15 minutes).
Garden Entry is complimentary.
