Bonnie Nelson
Director of Visitor Services

A native Victorian, Bonnie Nelson has spent the past five years cultivating the conference, meetings and incentive travel (CMIT) business for Royal Roads University, stewards of Hatley Park National Historic Site.  On May 1st, 2008 Bonnie was promoted to the position of Director of Visitor Services bringing her tourism sector and university operation knowledge together into her new portfolio of responsible. Extremely customer focused and with an incredible eye for detail, Bonnie manages a wide range of visitor services for the the Hatley Park National Historic Site operations and Royal Roads University Operations including: interpretive services, conferences, meetings, incentive trravel, weddings, filming, special events, ceremonies, convocation, accommodations and the food and beverage services.

Bonnie has a passion for working with people stems back to her days as a registered nurse. Following 15 years in the healthcare industry, she went on to launch Vancouver Island Planning Services event management. Bonnie’s commitment to clients is captured in the following anonymous quote:
