Manager, Conferences and Events

A native Victorian, Lorraine Burtoi is the Manager, Conferences and Events for Royal Roads University and Hatley Park National Historic Site. Lorraine is responsible for managing an array of activities including conferences, meetings, weddings, incentive travel, interpretive services, festivals, special events, film operations, convocation, and president’s functions.

Lorraine’s background in communications and event planning, in both the public and private sectors, provides the diversity of knowledge necessary to manage these significant events. Lorraine has also worked in the tourism sector for Signature Vacations and Princess Cruises, bringing valuable experience that can be tapped into to find innovative ways to welcome our visitors to the Hatley Park National Historic Site.
