Wedding and Special Event Planner

Roberta Helgason, a newcomer to Victoria and Vancouver Island, is the wedding and special event planner for Hatley Park National Historic Site.

Prior to joining Royal Roads University, Roberta proudly spent time with the Canadian Cancer Society coordinating the Victoria and the Western Communities “Relay For Life” events in 2007 as well as a number of events for the “Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock 10th Anniversary”. Roberta also brings with her a background in sales for the hotel industry.

Roberta says: “I was amazed the first time I visited Hatley Castle and the gardens. A wedding at Hatley Castle is truly a fairy tale experience.”. Her expertise will make any bride feel like a princess on their special day.
